Instead, students and faculty in the Urban Teacher Program should use the materials in these databases to design lesson plans, assignments and more. Most of these databases are also available to the general public in Minnesota via the Electronic Library of Minnesota (elibrarymn.org).
Over Zoom, Mariam Mohamed and Sean Stewart read from their published picture books and discussed their journeys to creating children's literature that reflect the local communities where they live and teach.
