National Library Week: 2023 - There's More to the Story

Only current Metro State students are eligible to receive gift cards. The gift card will be mailed to your address on file and will not be replaced if lost or stolen. If you are not a US citizen or permanent resident alien or are present under F-1 nonimmigrant student status, you must complete a Tax Residency Information Form (TRIF) to receive your gift card.

Did you know... 

• Our employees have more than 275 combined years of experience working in libraries
• We hold degrees in 13 different subjects, including Library Science, Political Science, Economics, and Religion
• 6 of the Library employees are Metro State alumni
• We hail from 7 different states, though most of us are from MN
• Our favorite genres to read are poetry, romance, mystery, sci-fi/fantasy, psychology, comic books, non-fiction, speculative fiction, microhistory, and humor
• We love the board games in our collection ranging from classics like Scrabble, Yahtzee, Connect 4, and Cribbage; to new classics like Catan, Codenames, and Splendor; and other games as varied as Animal Upon Animal, Telestrations, Unstable Unicorns, Betrayal at House on the Hill, and Wingspan
• All together our staff lives with 6 dogs, 16 cats, 2 ball pythons, 3 bearded dragons, and 6 chickens
