Center for Faculty Development

Instructional Support

Metropolitan State's Instructional Designers can work with you to:

  • Review learner needs, course objectives, content materials, communication/ instructional/assessment strategies, learning activities, and course alignment
  • Explore new concepts and technologies to improve teaching and learning (student-centric learning, active learning, inclusion, flipped classroom, etc.)
  • Discuss iterative changes, brainstorm solutions to improve active learning in courses, or pursue projects

Connect with the Faculty Mentors to:

  • Discuss best practices for meeting teaching challenges (creating faculty presence, navigating student issues, etc.)
  • Explore teaching and learning strategies
  • Seek out peer support for practical issues related to teaching online or in person
