MnSTATE OER Development Support

Most of MnSCU's OER information can be found at www.MinnState.edu/OER.

Minnesota State offers frequent webinars:

  • Open Education Network Webinars - get introduced to OER, Creative Commons licensing, and the work with the Open Education Network (OEN). Review an open textbook and receive a $200 stipend.
  • OER Community Conversations - Share, discuss, and learn from colleagues in the Minnesota State OER community, focused on a topic of interest.
  • OER FAQ - Get answers to frequently asked OER questions.
  • Minnesota State faculty and staff may participate in OER Learning Circles. These facilitated cohorts take place each spring, fall, and summer. Participating faculty get .5 release credit equivalency to redesign a course around OER, or author OER primary or ancillary materials over 10 weeks (5 weeks in the summer).

There's also information about Opendora, the digital OER repository for Minnesota State faculty to load, access, and share licensed OER, and ways to access the internal OER Community Site.
