Accessibility at the Library

Assistive Technology

Library computers have screen reader software and text magnification software. For a complete list of software available on computers, see the PDFs attached to this page on Academic Software.

Some of the library computers are installed on height-adjustable tables.

Loaner laptops may be available; see the Library's Computers and Printing page for additional information.

A Sorenson Video Relay Service (SVRS) Public Videophone is available for deaf and hard of hearing patrons on the first floor near the base of the staircase and the Security desk.

Some special equipment is available for check-out on the first floor of the library, including:

  • iPad
  • Livescribe Echo smartpen
  • Hearing Helper: Williams Sound
  • Voice recorder: Sony ICD-UX523
